God created us with free will. We can to choose his way or we can choose to live our lives the way we choose. Going our own way means choosing a life of sin. Sin Separates us from God. Sin ruined the relationship God originally designed for us to have with him. He is holy and cannot dwell with sin.
Because God loves and care for us he says: choose obedience, over disobedience, life over death. Every person must know that he or she is individually responsible before our creator. God warned man that disobedience would mean death. (separation from him / spiritual and physical death ) The Bible further states: The The wages of sin is death. Sin has ruined the perfect order that God set in place at creation. From our original parents who sinned, we all possess the sin nature and as a result we all continue to sin against God in violation of his perfect law.
Through his sinless Son, Jesus Christ, God has provided the way for us to be saved from his righteous judgement. God’s plan is to restore his order and our place with him. He will not tolerate sin forever. He said all souls are mine and the soul that sin it shall die. The Bible says: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. It goes on to say: But God demonstrates His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We all need to be saved since we are all sinners facing the righteous judgement of God. As the word of God says: It is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgment. No one stands righteous before God but for the grace of God. Jesus said: You must be born again. It is through Jesus Christ we have the opportunity to be saved from the judgment. The Bible said God look down from heaven to see if there was any righteous and found not one. The Bible teaches that the final destination for unrepentant sinners is hell and damnation. This means then that sinners are lost souls who need to be saved.
