Hell is the final destination for The souls of the unregenerate and all who rejected God and his offer of salvation. Hell is eternal separation from God. Hell is the place of eternal torment. Death is not the end of one’s existence. the body goes back to the ground. The soul continue to exist, God knows where until the appointed day of judgement for final destination. The Bible said: God created man and breathed into man’s nostrils and man became a living soul. God is eternal. Man breathes the breath of life which came directly from the eternal God. This makes him an eternal soul. In Ezekiel 18:4 the word of God said: Behold all souls are mine; the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine; the soul that sinneth it shall die. God did not create mankind simply to live without purpose and then die. Everything God made is for a purpose and mankind have a special purpose and responsibility to our creator. God created us with free will, conscience and an eternal soul.
Death came as the result of sin when man first disobeyed God’s command. The consequence of sin is that mankind sufferers both physical and spiritual death. Physical death means: this Soul and Spirit is separated from the body which is them returned to the ground from which it came. Spiritual death: is separation from God. An unregenerate soul: someone who has never repented and who dies in their sins and therefore a soul without the spirit of God, lost forever. The Bible teaches that this is a state of eternal torment and separation from God. Our loving creator has provided the way for us to be saved from hell. To escape hell eternal, damnation and separation from God, is believe in the only one who can save you from hell. Jesus Christ and his sacrificial death on the cross, that takes away sin. Individually each person must either accept or reject God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Humanity has a choice by free will, to accept or reject God. God has given us all the time we need so repent, turn to him and to receive his gift of eternal life in his kingdom. God will not allow sin and evil to go on in the world forever. He has appointed a day of judgement. In the book of Revelation we learn: God’s books will be opened on that day and whosoever’s name is not found written there in God’s book of life will be separated and cast into eternal damnation, destruction, the lake of fire. The bible often speak in symbolic terms yet it gives us enough to understand that God is just, hell is real and sinners have the opportunity by their God given free will to believe, repent and be saved. It is also our free will to refuse, reject and be damned.
