Do I have to get saved now, can l not wait a few more years?

Waiting even for one day to repent from sin and commit your life to God is like gambling with your soul. Each of us are here in this life for a limited short period of time. No one knows when his or her time will be expired. Death does not wait until one is ready to die. Repentance cannot be made after death. The Bible declares: It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment. Jesus talked about the rich man who thought he had all the time in the world to go and enjoy his riches not knowing that it was his last day. We must seek the Lord while he may be found and while we have the opportunity, it is time to call upon him in repentance, for now is the day of salvation. The Bible teaches that the consequences of dying in our sins is dreadful. The unrepentant heart faces hell and damnation.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We must all repent before it is too late. When we pass away from this life, our bodies go back to the ground but that is not the end of our existence. Man has an eternal soul from the eternal God. Therefore you will continue to exist forever. The choice of where you want to spend eternity is made by you in this life. There are only two choices and God allows us the free will to choose now. There is no opportunity to do so after we pass from this life. Jesus said if you do not believe that I am he, you shall die in your sins. He said: Behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. The Bible warns us to remember our creator in the days our youth, to fear God and keep his Commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
