This is such an important question. God the Father, has provided the way of salvation for us; and the only way to Him is through His Son Jesus Christ, who became the atoning sacrifice for our sins. He stood in place of us, to cover us from the punishment we deserved. By his shed blood, He paid the price for our redemption, in order to save us from the consequences of our sins. The Bible teaches: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
We have no way to save ourselves from sins consequences. no matter our earthly wealth and status. We all stand guilty before the holy God having absolutely no ability of our own to be reconciled to Him. In His great mercy and Love, God set in place His plan of salvation for us sinful, rebellious human beings. This is how He did it. The Bible said: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said: ***I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6. Jesus goes to say: If you do not believe that I am he you shall die in your sins. There is no way of bypassing Jesus Christ to get to God the Father, no one is going to heaven without believing in Him. Sinful people cannot get into God’s heaven but the blood of the sinless Son of God washes away our sins and so, He is the only way and there is no hope man without Him.
