The Bible teaches the way to be saved, and it is: through Jesus Christ. Here is what Jesus said: ***“ I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. In Acts 4:12 the scripture teaches: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. One famous verse of scripture declares: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Jesus said to some who did not believe: “If you do not believe that I am He you shall die in your sins.” John 8:24.
All of us need to be saved from the consequence of sin; but none of us can save ourselves and there is no way to be saved than through Jesus Christ. You can call on a relative, a friend or a neighbor but unfortunately, none can save you from from consequence of sin: The righteous wrath of God, eternal separation from Him. All must recognize that Jesus is the way.
THE SCRIPTURE ALONE WILL SPEAK HERE:
· “And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).
· “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
· “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16).
· “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
JESUS SAID: *** Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew (11:28-29).
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3).
* Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit , he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
Marvel not that I said unto thee, you must be born again. (John 3:7).
A Prayer For Salvation:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into the world and gave your life when you died on the cross for my sins, and I believe that by the power of God the Father, you rose from the dead. I acknowledge that I am lost, and that I am a sinner in need of salvation. Lord, I repent and I am turning away from sin. I ask your forgiveness for my sins. Please come into my heart and save me. I pray in Jesus’ name Amen.
